Do I Need Two Sump Pumps?

The answer is yes—and maybe more. Your house should have a primary and a battery operated sump pump or a gravity feed system as a backup. Depending on the size and depth of your basement, more than 2 sump pumps may be required to assure your basement stays dry in the event of the failure of a primary pump due to power outages or the wearing out of the unit and to supplement in the event of excessive rainfall.

Sump pumps should be maintained regularly to assure optimal performance and to catch issues before they happen. Regardless of proper and regular maintenance and cleaning, any units older than seven years should be replaced. Call us today for an estimate on a new or additional unit, or replacement sump pump!
